Week 4: MKTG 3347 - AI impact on Art




  
    AI art is rapidly evolving and changing the art industry. There are many programs that use a text to image method in order to create images. Therefore, almost anyone can create art and it will help individuals who have a difficult time creating unique ideas as their thoughts can be generated within seconds. I believe this is a great idea for businesses that can not afford to employ an artist or graphic designer. Due to AI art being so easy to create there has been an uprise in the new market. You can find AI art being sold on Etsy, Amazon, and AI ArtShop. Although AI can generate almost anything it will most likely never be perfect, and perhaps the market will not survive as most things will start to be repeated. Traditional art is still much more unique and perhaps it may take much longer individuals get to experience the creativity of an artist. AI art can also negatively impact real artists by devaluing their creations and this is because of how AI is so quick to learn. Individuals can steal other traditional artwork from others in order to produce a similar product by teaching AI to do so. 
    
    In conclusion, although AI can make it much easier for users to create art and promote their businesses at a better rate. I believe it is best if governments make sure to protect traditional artist from the dangers of ai.

                                                                                                        Ch. 4     Many individuals are feeling stuck and do not enjoy their current jobs; some may believe that they do not have any options or fear of doing a career change. According to an article by the Pew Research Center, it states that 1 in 5 workers will be looking for new jobs, and 60% of those that did switch found an increase in their pay  (Kochhar). It is known that wages are one of the main reasons why individuals leave jobs and another reason would be that they are unhappy. By increasing wages, employers will be able to provide more stability for employees; this will make the individuals more happy if they are being paid fairly. While this can be great for some individuals others may find themselves still in a cycle of unhappiness.
